The New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One (NYML/NLO) has announced a mandatory virtual management workshop for team managers and key officials of all participating clubs, ahead of the 2025 season.
Scheduled for April 17th and 18th, 2025, the workshop aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of club management personnel. The sessions will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day and are free for all NYML/NLO clubs. Each club is expected to send at least two representatives.
The workshop will cover six key areas:
Day 1: Thursday, April 17th, 2025
- Transfers in Amateur Football – Mr. Nasir Jubril
- Financial Management for Clubs – Dr. Damilola Adedotun
- Building Club Brands: Marketing and Fan Engagement – Ms. Nkechi Obi
- Sustainability in Football – Dr. Femi Onifade
Day 2: Friday, April 18th, 2025
- Leadership and Governance – Prof. Morounfolu M.
- Mental Health Among Amateur Players – Dr. Robinson Okosun
- Diagnosing the NLO Rule Book – NLO Chief Operating Officer
The initiative, organized in collaboration with STW Nigeria Ltd, is part of the NYML/NLO's efforts to ensure a smooth and professional 2025 league campaign.
