Nigeria's Super Eagles secured a 2-0 win against Rwanda in Kigali, with head coach Sékou Chelle praising his players' effort despite limited preparation time.
Speaking after the match, Chelle acknowledged Rwanda's strength and commended his team's performance.
"It was a difficult game; Rwanda has a great team. I am proud of my players' performance. We worked a lot within the few days we had," Chelle stated.
He highlighted the team's tactical improvement in the second half.
"We had just two full training sessions. We kept the ball well in the second half—good performance from my guys."
The Super Eagles' win adds momentum to their campaign as they continue preparations for upcoming fixtures.
