The Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club, John Obuh, marked his birthday with a special celebration alongside physically challenged athletes from Abia State. The event, held at the Abia Warriors Secretariat, was attended by notable sports personalities, club officials, and supporters.
Obuh, whose birthday fell on the 21st of the month, chose to commemorate the occasion today by hosting the Abia athletes, reinforcing his commitment to inclusivity and sports development.
The gathering featured members of the Abia Warriors Supporters Club, club management, and technical crew. A key moment of the event was the cutting of the birthday cake, where Obuh was joined by the club’s Chief Accountant, Ugochukwu Sunday Alwell, who was also celebrating his birthday.
Speakers at the ceremony, including Club Secretary Elder Godson Eluwa, General Coordinator John Kalu, Supporters Club Chairman Comrade Ifeanyi Okereke, and Abia State Sports Council Coach Jude Ihuarulam, praised Obuh for his leadership, which has significantly contributed to the club’s progress.
