Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC has announced the appointment of Cameroon international Encho Anthony as the new head coach for the remainder of the Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Anthony replaces Coach Sani Sarduana, who was asked to step down due to the team's poor performance in the first half of the season.
Speaking on his return, Anthony expressed confidence in his ability to turn things around. "I was in ABS before, I did 50%, and I am back to complete the remaining 50% to make it 100%. My first mission is to take the team to the Super Eight and secure promotion to the NPFL," he said.
ABS FC currently sits 7th in Conference B with 12 points from 10 games. Anthony's first challenge will be an away fixture against Gateway FC of Abeokuta.
