Kwara United defender Victor Adeoye has expressed his delight after winning the Cyteck Man of the Match (MOTM) Award for his performance in the club’s 1-0 victory over Bayelsa United on Matchday 24 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Adeoye was a key figure in Kwara United’s defensive setup on Saturday, ensuring his team secured a clean sheet and three vital points. His solid performance earned him the MOTM Award, sponsored by Engr Ahmed Olaide.
Acknowledging the support he received, Adeoye thanked the club’s management and coaching staff.
"I want to thank the Chairman of Kwara United, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, for signing me this season and Coach Tunde Sanni for believing in me. If not for the opportunity provided by the club hierarchy, I might not be here today," he said.
Dedicating the award to his teammates, Adeoye pledged to continue working hard to help the club achieve greater success as the season progresses.
The Cyteck MOTM Award is designed to recognize and motivate Kwara United players, especially during home games, as they push for strong performances in the NPFL.
