Edel FC of Awka has announced the resignation of its technical adviser, Ndubuisi Ndah, citing a poor run of results. The club has swiftly appointed former Niger Tornadoes coach, Hamza Abara, as his replacement.
Ndah, a former Rangers International captain and Olympic gold medalist, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the club. In his resignation letter, he stated that stepping aside was necessary due to the team's disappointing performance despite the efforts made. He wished the club success in its future endeavors.
The club management thanked Ndah for his contributions and confirmed Abara's appointment, stating, "He is to resume duty immediately from today, being the 13th of February." Abara will be assisted by Kingsley O. Ihekwoaba, with both coaches tasked with "repositioning the fortunes of the club."
