Sokoto United FC has declared a one-week break for players and staff following the conclusion of the first round of the Nigerian National League (NNL).
General Manager Umar Muhammad Muraya stated that the break would help the team rest and recharge before resuming preparations for the second phase of the season.
"While we acknowledge our current position in the league table, we are not satisfied with it," Muraya said. "We must work harder in the second stanza to reclaim our rightful position, qualify for the Super 8, and secure promotion."
The management extended well wishes to the players and technical staff during the break, expressing confidence in a strong comeback in the second round.
