Shooting Stars SC (3SC) dominated the December League Bloggers Award (LBA) honors as Gbenga Ogunbote and Mustapha Lawal clinched the Manager of the Month and Player of the Month titles, respectively.
Ogunbote, known as the "Oracle," led 3SC to an impressive winning streak, securing victories in all five matches played during December. His tactical prowess earned him the top spot ahead of rivals Daniel Ogunmodede (Remo Stars), Greg Ikhenoba (Bendel Insurance), and Finidi George (Rivers United).
In the Player of the Month category, Mustapha Lawal, nicknamed the "Black Spider," emerged victorious over strong contenders, including teammates Desmond Ojietefian and Ikouwem Utim, alongside Ibrahim Shuaib (Remo Stars) and Chijioke Alaekwe (Akwa United). Lawal's standout performance saw him keep a clean sheet in all five matches, cementing his position as a key figure in the club's success.
These accolades reflect Shooting Stars' remarkable form and highlight the exceptional contributions of Ogunbote and Lawal in the team's December campaign.
