3SC GM Applauds Fans for a Successful First Round

The General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Dimeji Lawal, has expressed gratitude to the club's fans and supporters for their unwavering support and orderly conduct throughout the first round of the season.

Reviewing the first round, which concluded last Sunday, Lawal, a former Super Eagles winger, highlighted the pivotal role the fans played in the team's performance.

"On behalf of my chairman, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, the management, coaches, staff, and players, I want to appreciate our teeming supporters and fans for ensuring we had a hitch-free first round at home," Lawal stated.

He acknowledged the fans' steadfastness even during challenging moments, emphasizing their importance to the team's progress. "We achieved what we did in the first round because of their support and belief in us. Even when we were not doing well, they stood by us. Kudos to them."

Lawal, fondly called Kabongo, assured fans of a stronger second round, revealing that efforts are already underway to strengthen the team.

"We know we didn't have a perfect team in the first round, but I want to assure them that we are addressing our shortcomings. With a competent technical crew led by coach Gbenga Ogunbote, we are confident the team will be ready for the second round," he added.

The 3SC GM also called for continued support from fans as the club aims for an even better performance in the upcoming matches.
