NPFL: Katsina United Eyes Away Victory Against Abia Warriors

Katsina United’s head coach, Bashir Sadauki, has set his sights on an away victory as his team prepares to face Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday. This follows their impressive 2-0 home win over Remo Stars at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium last weekend.

Coach Sadauki emphasized his team’s resilience and adaptability, stating that they are always prepared to challenge for points regardless of the venue. "If you look at the way the league is going, any team can be beaten at home, so anywhere we play, I always tell the boys to go for points," he remarked.

Reflecting on their approach to away games, Sadauki expressed confidence in the team's ability to recover points lost at home by delivering strong performances on the road. "If we can lose at home, then we can also go to away games and complement what we lose at home," he insisted, highlighting the importance of consistency.

The victory over Remo Stars has bolstered Katsina United’s confidence ahead of their clash with Abia Warriors. With the coach’s belief in the team's potential and the players motivated by recent successes, the Ikon Allah boys are determined to secure a positive result in Umuahia.

Wednesday’s encounter presents an opportunity for Katsina United to climb further up the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) standings. With their sights firmly set on an away win, the team is eager to maintain their momentum and continue their strong performance in the league.
