FIFA is set to launch its Mini-Pitch Project in schools worldwide, aiming to bring football closer to young people within member associations. The project’s primary goal is to provide schools and communities with accessible sports infrastructure that promotes inclusivity. Benin has been selected as the first African country to implement this pilot project, marking a significant step for the Mini-Pitch Project on the continent. As a pioneer of this initiative in Africa, Benin will help FIFA assess the project’s impact and refine it for future expansion across other nations.
