As the FIFA-imposed ban on Samson Siasia approaches its end this month, the former Nigerian international is reportedly set to return to coaching. According to Tolu Oguntimehin, a prominent sports journalist, Mighty Jets, a second division football club based in Jos, Nigeria, is keen on securing Siasia’s services as their Head Coach.
Oguntimehin revealed through his official social media account, @Tolu_TOTSPORTS, that Siasia is eager to resume his coaching career and is currently negotiating with local clubs. Among the interested parties, Mighty Jets stands out as a serious contender.
The discussions between Mighty Jets and Siasia have been confirmed by Ferdinand Mbum, the General Manager of the club. Mbum indicated that the club is actively pursuing an agreement with Siasia, despite the significant financial demands from the coach. Siasia has reportedly requested ₦10 million per month as his salary.

Despite the financial hurdles, Mighty Jets remains optimistic about finalizing the deal. The club aims to have Siasia officially begin his role on August 21, 2024, marking the end of his FIFA ban and the start of a new chapter in his coaching career.
