The ABS FC Player Talent Development Program (PTDP) has set the stage for an exhilarating football talent hunt, attracting considerable attention from the North Central region. Scheduled to unfold from August 9-11, 2024, at the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) pitch in Ilorin, this event has seen an impressive registration of over 40 clubs eager to participate.
The ABS FC/PTDP Nationwide Scouting Program is designed to identify and nurture emerging football talents across Nigeria. By offering a platform for young players to showcase their skills, the program aims to unearth potential stars who could join ABS Ilorin FC and advance their careers in professional football.
Ahmed Abdullah, the Program Coordinator, expressed enthusiasm about the response. "We are thrilled with the overwhelming response from clubs across the North Central region," Abdullah stated. "This is a fantastic opportunity for young footballers to showcase their skills and take their careers to the next level."
The scouting program is open to players aged 18-21, with no registration or participation fees. Given the high number of participating clubs, the competition promises to be intense.
