The Flying Antelopes secured their place in the next round with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Zilimadjou. The first leg, held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, saw Rangers take a crucial lead through a 22nd-minute header by Uwumiro Frank. This goal came from a well-executed corner kick delivered by Agu Kenechukwu, marking a significant moment in the tie.
In the return leg, played in Comoros, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Rangers initially took the lead when Kenechukwu Agu converted a penalty, awarded after Ekeson Okorie was fouled inside the Zilimadjou penalty area.
