Sunday Oliseh, the ex-Super Eagles coach and player, praised Victor Osimhen for his outstanding performance in the AFCON Round of 16 win over Cameroon yesterday night.
Oliseh expressed great admiration for the Napoli player's attacking and defensive efforts in the 2-0 victory against Cameroon. Osimhen provided an assist in the match, contributing to the team's victory over the Indomitable Lions.
Oliseh, in a post on his X account, expressed his tremendous admiration for Victor Osimhen's exceptional performance, highlighting his offensive and defensive skills, as well as his leadership and determination to win.
“Victor Osimhen! Victor Osimhen!! Extremely impressed not only by his offensive runs, and defensive work but even by corner kicks, and tormenting of the Cameroonian defense, but mostly by his leadership and hunger to win! Bravo to our African Ballon D’or,” he said.
The Super Eagles victory against Cameroon sets up a quarter-final match against Angola in the AFCON on Friday.
